New Business Application Outsourcing Sales Director; Selective Search are currently looking for an experienced Application business development Outsourcing sales lead with a specific background/understanding of Application Outsourcing selling into FS industry. You will be working with one of the most prestigious IT service players on the planet with a pedigree very few businesses can match.
This role will be responsible as an individual contributor for driving sales of Applications Management Outsourcing solutions across a range of the financial services and Insurance industry. If you have a strong track record of selling to the Financial Services industry this would be advantageous but not essential.
This role is to business develop large AMS deals into the enterprise space while cross selling within its existing client base. You will be reporting to the main UK board of directors as the overall mega Outsourcing sales evangelist for Government.
You will be responsible for promoting our client in the FS/Insurance market while running a tactical software vendor relationship as an alliance partner and strategic point of contact. You will be responsible for creating and driving your own pipeline as an individual contributor, in line with the business unit’s overall business strategy amp; direction.
The focus of this person will be on mid-large sized Applications Management deals (£7m to £50m+) You will be an experienced business developer, with a proven sales track record in the IT services industry, preferably working for a tier 1 IT service provider.
You must have experience of working and understanding of how a matrix people environment works. Must have sold Application Outsourcing services – Must understand the Capital markets and FS/Insurance procurement cycle Experience of selling software and related on demand commerce optimization applications as a service Ideally experience of selling offshore application development Experience of selling business intelligence Understanding or experience of selling collaboration, CRM and ERP outsourcing Must have worked for large organisations in sales role during the last 3 years, responsible for Business Development ideally the Application Management space.
You will have personally led amp; sold at least three referenceable ITO or Application Management Deals to FTSE 350 / Fortune 500 organisations. Must be comfortable leading CIO / IT Director level business meetings. You will have worked on large Application Management deals involving deal advisory firms and demonstrate familiarity with complex Application Management sales cycles. Ideally well versed with commercial models, estimation techniques, pricing trends, TUPE regulations, crafting complex MSA amp; SOW documents.

- Essential to have sold Application Management solutions involving service delivery from Nearshore / Offshore locations outside UK.
