Selective Search — specialist executive technology sales headhunters — are retained to identify an exceptional Pre-Sales Director for a global technology services leader targeting the Japanese Insurance market. This is a unique and highly specialised executive technology sales role combining deep Insurance domain expertise with Pre-Sales leadership in one of the world’s most distinctive markets.
The Role
Working alongside senior sales and account leadership, you will lead the Pre-Sales function for Insurance technology propositions targeted at major Japanese insurers and financial services organisations.
- Lead Pre-Sales and solution design for Insurance technology pursuits in Japan
- Translate complex technology capabilities into compelling Insurance-specific value propositions
- Support the sales team in C-suite and technical stakeholder engagements
- Develop and present solutions, demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements
- Build and maintain deep knowledge of the Japanese Insurance regulatory and technology environment
- Collaborate with Delivery, Product and Commercial teams to ensure solutioning excellence
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Pre-Sales or Solutions leadership background in executive technology sales
- Deep domain expertise in Insurance — claims, underwriting, policy administration, or regulatory compliance
- Experience working with or within the Japanese market — Japanese language skills a significant advantage
- Excellent communicator — able to bridge technical capability and business value
- Comfortable with international travel and cross-cultural client engagement
