Selective Search — specialist executive technology sales headhunters — are retained by a major global technology services organisation to identify a heavyweight New Business Sales Director. This is a pure new business hunter role — if you are the best at opening doors, building relationships and closing deals in the technology sector, we want to speak with you.
The Role
As New Business Sales Director, you will own origination through to close across a defined territory or vertical, building a high-quality pipeline of £5m–£50m+ TCV technology services opportunities.
- Drive new logo acquisition across target verticals — from cold approach to contract signature
- Build a robust and qualified pipeline of £5m–£50m+ TCV technology services deals
- Engage at Board, CIO and CTO level to position and close complex IT services propositions
- Develop market presence through networking, events and thought leadership
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Bid Management and Delivery teams on major pursuits
- Exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets
What We Are Looking For
- Proven executive technology sales hunter — new business is your passion, not account management
- Background in IT Services, Outsourcing, Cloud or Management Consulting sales at senior level
- Track record of consistently closing £5m+ TCV deals with new name clients
- Exceptional prospecting, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Resilient, disciplined and energised by the challenge of winning new business
