Selective Search — specialist executive sales headhunters — are retained to identify an exceptional Managing Director for a major technology services organisation. This is a rare P&L leadership role combining senior executive technology sales responsibility with full operational management of a significant UK business unit.
The Role
As Managing Director, you will own revenue, profitability and people leadership for a substantial technology services practice, driving both organic growth and new logo acquisition at the highest level.
- Full P&L ownership and accountability for a major UK technology services business unit
- Drive senior-level client relationships at Board, CIO and C-suite level
- Lead a high-performance sales and delivery organisation
- Develop and execute market strategy to accelerate revenue growth
- Represent the organisation at senior industry forums and with key clients
- Lead, develop and inspire a senior leadership team
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven P&L leadership experience within a technology services, IT outsourcing or management consultancy environment
- Strong executive technology sales background — you have personally driven and closed significant new business
- Board-level gravitas and an established C-suite network
- Track record of growing a business unit through both client acquisition and account expansion
- Exceptional leadership — able to inspire a commercial and delivery organisation simultaneously
