This is a rare senior opportunity for an elite Business Development Director to own new logo growth across Central Government and Defence.

The Role

You will drive a high-value pipeline of Application Solutions deals (£5m–£50m TCV), shaping complex propositions and closing landmark contracts. Pure new business — cold outreach through to formal procurement.

• Own pipeline creation and demand generation across Central Government and Defence
• Drive new logo acquisition through relationship-led and procurement-led sales
• Shape and close Application Outsourcing and Development deals (£5m–£50m TCV)
• Engage and influence at CIO, IT Director and Board level
• Own full P&L accountability at pursuit and client level
• Partner with Solution Architects, Sector Leadership and Delivery teams

The Ideal Candidate

• Senior executive technology sales background at a Tier 1/2 Global IT or Management Consultancy
• Personally closed at least three £10m+ TCV Application Solutions deals to FTSE 350 or Fortune 500 clients
• Deep expertise in Central Government, Defence, Aerospace or Utilities sectors
• Gravitas to engage at CIO and Board level; skilled in formal procurement frameworks
• Commercially fluent — pricing models, TUPE, MSA/SOW construction, offshore delivery
