Our Story
Boutique Executive Search for the Technology Sales Market
We are a boutique UK-based executive search consultancy specialising exclusively in senior technology sales recruitment. Founded by Peter Davies and Emily Dixon — both experienced practitioners in the technology sector — Selective Search combines deep market knowledge with a genuinely personal approach.
We place exceptional sales professionals across Cloud, AI, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation and Professional Services — from Enterprise Account Executives through to Sales Directors, VPs and Chief Revenue Officers.
We operate across the UK, US, EMEA, Dubai and APAC. We don’t post jobs and hope. We headhunt — finding the best people in the market, including those not actively looking.

Peter Davies
Managing Director & Founder
Peter brings decades of experience in technology sales recruitment, working at board and senior leadership level across some of the world’s most recognised technology organisations globally. A straight talker with deep industry knowledge and a genuine commitment to both clients and candidates. Peter is also a fully qualified PCC Executive Coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation and trained at Henley Business School.
Emily Dixon
Operations Director
Emily manages operations and candidate experience, ensuring every search runs smoothly from brief to offer. Her meticulous approach and genuine care for candidates ensures that every placement is the right one — for both parties. Emily is also a Registered Nutritionist (ANutr), holding a First-Class Honours BSc in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Southampton.
