Selective Search — specialist executive technology sales headhunters — are retained by a world-leading Technology Services organisation to identify a Senior Big Deals Sales Director for the UK Public Sector. This is one of the most senior and strategically important executive technology sales roles available in the UK market today.
The Role
You will originate, shape and close transformational technology deals across UK Central Government, NHS, Local Government and the wider Public Sector — deals that genuinely change how public services are delivered.
- Originate and lead £20m–£500m+ TCV technology transformation pursuits across UK Public Sector
- Build and maintain deep relationships across Government procurement, Cabinet Office and major departments
- Navigate complex procurement frameworks — Crown Commercial Service, G-Cloud, DOS, and negotiated routes
- Shape propositions combining cloud, applications, managed services and digital transformation
- Lead large cross-functional pursuit and bid teams through full sales lifecycle
- Act as the senior visible face of the organisation in Public Sector market
What We Are Looking For
- Elite track record in executive technology sales within UK Public Sector
- Minimum 3 x £20m+ TCV wins in Central Government, NHS or Local Government — references required
- Deep expertise in UK Government procurement frameworks and policy environment
- Gravitas and credibility at Permanent Secretary, Director General and CIO level
- Complex commercial expertise — TUPE, risk/reward, offshore delivery, MSA/SOW construction
