Position Overview:
The New Business/Hunter ServiceNow Salesperson will play a critical role in driving new business growth through the acquisition of new clients for our ServiceNow solutions. This role demands a proactive and energetic approach to sales, requiring a professional who is skilled at prospecting, building relationships, and converting leads into clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT service management and demonstrated success in a hunter sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
– **Prospecting and Lead Generation**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging social media.
– **Client Acquisition**: Develop and implement effective strategies to convert leads into clients, focusing on the unique benefits of our ServiceNow offerings.
– **Needs Assessment**: Conduct thorough needs assessments and engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to identify pain points and business challenges.
– **Solution Demonstration**: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of ServiceNow products, highlighting how they address client needs and drive business value.
– **Sales Pipeline Management**: Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales results using CRM tools. Track progress towards targets and adjust strategies as needed.
– **Relationship Building**: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts to facilitate trust and open communication.
– **Market Intelligence**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and innovations in ServiceNow solutions to position our offerings effectively in the marketplace.
– **Collaboration**: Work closely with marketing and pre-sales teams to align strategies and share insights from the field to enhance lead generation efforts.
### **Qualifications:**
– **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
– **Experience**:
– 3-5 years of experience in a salesperson role with a focus on new business acquisition; experience in IT or SaaS sales preferred.
– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business sales targets in a hunter capacity.
