Their mission is to empower businesses with innovative technology that drives efficiency and growth. As they expand in the EMEA region, they are seeking a dynamic General Manager of Sales to lead our efforts and connect with clients across diverse markets.
**Position Overview:**
The General Manager – Sales EMEA will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market footprint in the region. This role involves strategic leadership, team development, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the software industry, with a keen understanding of the EMEA market dynamics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Sales Strategy Development:**
– Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the EMEA region.
– Conduct market analysis to understand competitive landscape, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
- **Team Leadership:**
– Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to exceed sales targets.
– Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
- **Client Relationship Management:**
– Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts and strategic partnerships.
- **Performance Monitoring:**
– Set sales performance metrics and KPIs, and regularly assess team performance against targets.
– Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the executive team.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
– Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals and enhance the customer experience.
– Provide market feedback to the product team to influence product development and roadmap.
- **Budget Management:**
– Develop and manage the sales budget to ensure optimal resource allocation and ROI on sales initiatives.
– Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the sales process.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
– 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the software industry.
– Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the EMEA region.
– Strong understanding of EMEA market dynamics, including cultural nuances and regulatory considerations.
– Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
– Ability to travel within the EMEA region as required.
